Mitch Sikapizye

Mitch Sikapizye is a visionary entrepreneur, engineer, and global changemaker, born in Ndola, Zambia and currently based in Oregon, USA. As the Founder and Board Chair of Africa International Foundation, Mitch brings over a decade of leadership experience spanning the nonprofit, semiconductor, and advanced manufacturing sectors. His work is driven by a deep commitment to creating sustainable well-being, equity, and generational impact across Africa.

Mitch established Africa International Foundation to empower communities through innovative, community-led programs focused on education, healthcare, renewable energy, and economic development. Under his leadership, the Foundation has launched a groundbreaking early childhood development center and maternal health clinic on a 7-hectare site in Zambia—an initiative aimed at reducing infant mortality and fostering long-term community resilience.

Prior to founding AIF, Mitch held senior engineering roles at Intel Corporation, where he led global mechanical and quality engineering efforts for next-generation CPU technologies. His work contributed to over $430 million in cost savings and helped deliver advanced products in collaboration with Apple, Microsoft, and Google.

Mitch is passionate about leveraging AI and automation to streamline nonprofit operations, reduce overhead costs, and ensure that the majority of donor contributions go directly toward high-impact community programs. His approach blends innovation, financial stewardship, and grassroots engagement to build scalable, sustainable solutions.
